Alex Córdova is an artist from the Peruviuan Andes. He studied at artschool in Peru. After realising some painting exhibitions he started focussing on photography as well. He did different projects about varying themes, like homosexuality and political violence. During the past two years he received a few courses about the use of audiovisual media. He made a short artistic video and some documentaries. His last documentary was shown at various european and latin-american festivals and won a price in Lima. Alex keeps on painting and taking photograps but most of all he want to explore the use of video to communicate his views on the outside world. This year he will participate in an international filmcourse in Havana, Cuba.
